Herbert S. Wolfson is an American arbitrator and legal counselor with more than 30 years of experience in the United Arab Emirates and neighboring countries. He has acted as tribunal chairman, sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator in arbitration cases seated in the United Arab Emirates, and has assisted courts in the United States by providing expert reports and testimony about UAE law and the laws of other countries of the Middle East. Herb has published numerous articles about U.A.E. law, and frequently delivers lectures and training courses on legal topics in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. Herb received a degree in law from the University of Pennsylvania in May 1988. He received a bachelor's degree in Arabic language and literature from the University of Pennsylvania in May 1985; and also holds a Master's degree in Islamic legal history from the University of Pennsylvania.
