Arran Dowling-Hussey has been appointed to the advisory board of the Gujurat International Maritime Arbitration Centre (“GIMAC”).
GIMAC is the first center of its kind in India and will manage arbitration and mediation proceedings with disputes related to the maritime and shipping sector. A 10-member advisory board, consisting of international experts and professionals, has been created, which will help in the framing of rules for the arbitration center and in empaneling arbitrators.
Discussing his appointment to the advisory board, Mr. Dowling-Hussey said:
